Group Privacy options
Summary¶
Valo Teamwork allows administrators to change group privacy options from Teamwork Admin site. The privacy options can be selected on template level and it has following selections:
- Use sensitivity labels - Select whether sensitivity labels are used or not
- Configure sensitivity labels - Configure whether user can select the used sensitivity label or select what sensitivity label is used for workspaces created based on this template
- Hide group in Outlook experiences - If selected, groups created based on this template will be hidden in Outlook experiences (recipients list and discover groups)
- Suppress welcome message - If selected, a welcome email won't be sent to a new member joining the group

Please note, that Microsoft Graph APIs for sensitivity labels are still under development. Hence, Valo has developed sensitivity label support as a beta feature. Beta features are subject to change and their functionality might be limited.

Modify Group Privacy Options¶
Change privacy options
- Navigate to Teamwork Admin site, e.g https://{tenant}.sharepoint.com/sites/teamworkadmin
- Open Templates tab
- Choose the template you wish to edit and click on Edit template behind three dots
- Expand the Privacy section from Edit template panel
- Change the Group privacy options based on your need
- Click on Save to save the changes
