How to Disable Telemetry
Overview¶
Valo Teamwork will gather anonymous statistics of components usage around all installations. Gathered data only contain information about used components, templates, versions and does not contain any customer specific or personal data. More information about Valo telemetry can be found from Valo Telemetry page. In case you don't wish to send any telemetry data, the telemetry feature can be disabled.
Disable telemetry feature in standalone Teamwork installation¶
In order to disable telemetry in standalone Teamwork installation a new tenant property "Valo:TelemetryDisabled" needs to be added and set to true (Valo:TelemetryDisabled=true). New tenant property can be added for example by using Chrome SP Editor in SharePoint Admin site (Modern Properties section).
Disable telemetry feature when Teamwork installed together with Valo Modern Intranet¶
When Teamwork is installed together with Valo Modern Intranet disabling the telemetry can be done from ValoAdmin site from Manage Admin Configuration properties by setting the Allow Valo Telemetry service to gather usage statistics anonymously [Valo Telemetry]
